Svartbjørn the Eldest
As of 1550 AD, Svartbjørn the Eldest is the last known living Gurahl elder, a relic of a forgotten age when the Changing Bears walked the world freely. His many names echo through the oral histories of distant tribes, whispered in reverence or fear—though most now simply know him by his ancient fur, a mottled grey and brown like stone and bark, and by his unimaginable size: when in bear form, he rivals a full-grown elephant in bulk and stature.

Svartbjørn is said to have healed the wounds of dying spirits during the War of Rage and walked with Gaia's avatars when the world was still young. Though few have seen him in centuries, tales place him in remote places of power—deep forests, frozen mountains, hidden valleys—where the Umbra and physical world blur. His presence brings calm, a sacred hush, and the land itself seems to breathe easier when he lingers.

He is ancient, slow to speak, and rarely intervenes in worldly affairs, but his wisdom is unfathomable, and his rage—should it ever awaken—would shake the foundations of Gaia herself.

Liam Haraldsson, the Sea Wolf

Liam Haraldsson was born close by the Scottish coast, to a mixed clan of seafarers, under the dark of the moon. He never had his First Change, but Fenrir and Troll elders alike kept him busy learning to be useful. Ashore, he trained to fight with cutlass, musket, pike, knife and fist. Under sail, he learned sail- and line-handling, knots, carving, weatherspotting, hunting, lore and language. At sixteen, an aunt gifted him a fisherman's seal-fur coat. Thus, on a cold January night, when the sea winds came howling, a child left home with too much to prove and came back a Selkie.  

At nineteen, Liam found himself thrust into the wider affairs of the Prodigal world: staring into the Abyss on the Field of the Cloth of Gold, fighting Oni in far eastern Nippon, teaching Cubs to swim in Sherwood Forest, walking moon bridges to Turtle Island, sneaking past pirates, counseling nobility, even hunting down a missing Prince of England. 

Today, when seen on the streets of York, Liam Haraldsson's still a bit plain-looking despite a shock of sun-bleached white hair. His nose has been broken a time or two. There's an easygoing restlessness about him like someone who's only here until it's time for leaving again. He often wears custom-tailored boots, a seamless jerkin, and a master craftsman's tools on his belt.

Maxine Aperion Marcella is a Malkavian of the dreaded Ananke Bloodline, older than most would reckon.  She spends her nights plotting a better tomorrow for most kindred, a distraction from the urges of her blood, she has become a magnificent painter. With many works of her art on display within the Moody Badger, her main donation to the Badger. Ever the diplomat, she works very hard to maintain cordial relationships within the kindred society as well as without. It is normal for her to be the first to wave and escort newcomers around, and answer questions for visitors and the newly embraced.
