*Moody Badger Tavern*
The Dragons Tavern & Inn

Safe Haven and Elysium for all Prodigals.
Tucked away in a realm that touches all others, the Moody Badger Tavern—also known as The Dragon’s Tavern and Inn—is no ordinary public house. This Tudor-era marvel exists as a pocket realm, magically tethered to countless places and times, yet it is eternally rooted in the shadow of the Tower of London. Whether you’re a Kindred fleeing the torches of the Inquisition, a wandering Changeling looking for a moment’s warmth, a Garou on pilgrimage, or a curious Mage with pockets full of stardust and riddles, this tavern welcomes all who bear the name Prodigal.
What Makes the Moody Badger Unique?
At its heart, the Moody Badger is a sanctuary, protected by ancient magics. No violence is permitted between guests, and any such attempt will trigger the tavern's enchanted safeguards. Offenders and targets alike are instantly ejected—teleported to a location on the British Isles where they’ll be safe, at least momentarily. Use this mercy unwisely, and you’ll find the second strike might be your last.
Even more remarkably, the Tavern staff are immortal and impervious to harm. Whether it’s:

-
Genma, the ever-busy chef whose stews taste like home and whose spice rack holds bottles older than some gods,
-
Badger, the small but mighty dragon spirit and guardian of the space (also known by his truer name: Gabriel Jr.),
-
Oberon, the ancient Irish Wolfhound and sometimes-grumpy-but-always-wise protector,
-
Cissonia, the trade mistress with wares from ten thousand markets,
-
Or the ever-playing House Band, who know melodies no human ears have ever heard before—
Each holds this place together by force of will, story, and a touch of something older than the world.
A Tudor-Era Dream

The Tavern is a visual love letter to the Tudor Era. Step inside, and you’ll be greeted by rich red oak furniture, stone floors, and glowing hearths that never die down. The air carries the scent of roasting meats, hot bread, and ancient magic.

-
Stained glass windows cast brilliant colors across polished oak as sunlight (or something like it) filters in.
-
Weapons and artifacts from every corner of the world hang upon the walls—katanas beside African masks, Venetian glass above Persian rugs.
-
Silken curtains from the East offer warmth and mystery, while the azure flames in the hearths hum with quiet power.
Every beam, bench, and doorframe is said to be crafted from fallen branches of Yggdrasil, the World Tree, making this inn not just a building, but a sacred place stitched from myth itself.
Upstairs at the Inn
The upper floor holds a series of sumptuously appointed rooms, each with carved wooden beds, plush bedding, and relics from faraway lands. This is where adventurers rest, dreamwalkers slip between veils, and those who’ve danced too long with time find a rare moment of peace.
A Place of Magic and Mystery
Portals open at random. Sometimes an Egyptian spirit drifts in, or a Mongolian shadow-beast. Only Badger or Oberon can truly identify such visitors, but their knowledge always comes at a price. Be warned: if you are a female Garou or Fera, Oberon's humor can be... robust.
All food and drink served here is magically safe, though side effects may vary. A favorite among regulars is Mage’s Fire, a drink that causes Fae and Shifters to belch flame in a delightful (and sometimes destructive) display.
For the Weary, the Wandering, and the Wonder-Makers
Whether you’re a silent Tremere, a laughing Satyr, a brooding Get of Fenris, or a lost Umbrood in need of tea and tales, the Moody Badger Tavern is here for you.
So pull up a chair, roll the dice, and don’t mind the elf drinking next to the vampire. Here, all are welcome.
