About Us
Finding Inspiration in Every Adventure
For years, we enjoyed live-action roleplaying (LARPing) at various conventions. It was like taking the tabletop gaming experience to the next level. You can think of it like a Renaissance Faire but you participate in it, not just attend. For years, there were ones that ran through the evening and into the small hours of the night, and we embraced the experience. Sadly, those are fading away. Determined to bring this back, we founded After the Sun Sets Gaming. A group dedicated to bringing back those immersive LARP experiences, whether at a convention or a private venue. Primarily we focus on the historical World of Darkness, but we’re also venturing into the Isekai anime genre with future LARPs. These are all held at regional conventions.

Our current chronicle is called “Eventide of Albion”.

Our Story
You are welcome to join us in our merriment! “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances, And one man in his time plays many parts.” We are active at several southern regional conventions and are hoping to expand our adventures to others. Our system is a homebrew approach to an earlier version of World of Darkness. You can find out more about our approach at the links below. Eventide of Albion offers a rich, immersive setting where history and mythology intertwine, providing endless opportunities for adventure, intrigue, and exploration in a world where the supernatural is real and ever-present.
Time Period: The reign of Henry VIII and his children. (1509-1603)
Setting: Europe with a primary focus on England and the Tudor court
Overview
Eventide of Albion is set during the tumultuous period of Henry VIII’s reign. The world is not only divided by political and religious strife but also by the hidden existence of supernatural beings that influence and shape the events of the time. Vampires, changelings, mages, werewolves, and other mythical monsters lurk in the shadows, their presence known only to a few.
