An Invitation to All Free Spirits, Night-Walkers, Dreamers, and Wyrm-Watchers
On the Eve of Midsummer, the 21st Day of June, 1550, As the Moon swells and the Sun lingers longest, Let all Prodigals—of claw or court, flame or fang, From mountain dens, river hollows, dusty Chantries, and velvet crypts—Gather as one beneath the vaulted rafters of the Moody Badger Tavern.
🎉 Let there be a Midsummer’s Revel for the Many, not the Mighty! 🎉
While nobles sip from golden chalices at the palace above, we drink deep from oak barrels and silver-etched flagons below. Let the common-born, the exiled, the forgotten, and the fiercely free come feast, sing, howl, dance, and trade tales beneath the enchanted timbers of our Tavern under the Tower.
🦴 The Offerings of the Badger's Table 🥘
Spiced stews from the Moorlands of Iberia
Fire-pork and wild rice from the Kingdom of Ayutthaya
Seven-flavored dumplings from the kitchens of Chang’an
Dreamroot tea from Arcadia’s edge
Bloodwine (sealed and sanctioned) for those with discerning thirsts
Fermented bear milk and cactus spirits for the truly brave
And a dessert that may or may not whisper your True Name...
🎶 Live Music by the Enchanted Hollow Ensemble 🎶 (Featuring Fuzzy on drums, Cissonia on harp, and the haunting vocals of the Unseelie Chorale)
💫 No weapons drawn, no Glamour stolen, no Rite disrupted
As always, the magic of the Tavern holds. No harm shall pass within its walls, and the Badger watches all.
Dress as you will—feathers, fur, finery, or fangs.
You are welcome. You are wanted. You are family.
— With joy and defiance, By the Hand of the Band, the Claw of Harkin, the Breath of the Badger, and the Will of the Watchers Beneath
Pass through any Mirror or Moonpath; you will find the way. The Mead shall be warm.
