📜 Eventide of Albion – In-Game Time Shift Announcement 📜

Greetings, travelers of Avalon!

The wheel of time turns once more, and the world of Eventide of Albion now shifts forward. Our story moves from December of 1552 into the early spring of March 1553, setting the stage for the next great chapter at Dragoncon.

This transition will officially take place during a rare and powerful Luna Event in the real world — the Black Moon rising on August 22–23. Unlike a normal full moon, the Black Moon is a rare cosmic event when a single month holds two new moons. Though unseen to mortal eyes, its hidden power is felt deeply — a moment of reset, renewal, and heightened energy. Beneath its shadow, the skies will darken, and the heavens will unveil the brilliance of meteors, constellations, and the endless veil of the Milky Way.

As this celestial omen passes, so too shall Avalon awaken anew. The thaw of spring begins, political alliances tighten, wars simmer, and the fate of Avalon’s throne edges ever closer to unification — or division.

🌙 Downtime Actions

With this time shift, all players will be granted one Downtime action per convention, to take place during the last week before Dragoncon 2025. These Downtime actions allow you to shape the world, pursue schemes, secure allies, or prepare resources as we step into March of 1553.

✨ What This Means for You

  • The game calendar advances: We are now in March 1553.

  • Downtime window opens: Each player may submit one Downtime action.

  • The Dragoncon event will unfold with this new timeline in place, carrying forward the momentum of your choices and actions.

Mark your calendars, lift your gaze to the Black Moon, and let the veil of night remind you: Avalon’s destiny is written not only in ink and blood, but also in the stars.

⚔️ For Avalon. For the Throne. For the Dream.
