Thor Odinson "Harkin"

Harkin, the Demon Hound of the North
Thor Odinson, Prince of Glasgow

Once called Thor, son of the storm and protector of kin, now known in whispered tones and wary glances as Harkin, the Demon Hound of the North, this Kindred Elder is a living scar upon the skin of Scotland’s supernatural history.

Long before the Embrace, he was a White Howler, fierce and noble among the Pictish Garou. He ran with moonlight in his blood and the battle-cry of the Highlands in his throat. But when the Wyrm corrupted his tribe, and the White Howlers fell into legend and sorrow, he alone did not fall into the Abyss. Instead, he was captured—betrayed and shackled by Odin himself, a self-proclaimed god and ancient Kindred, who Embraced him in blood and cruelty. What Odin sought was a monstrous guardian; what he made was a soul forged in suffering, torn between his Garou birthright and Kindred curse.

Harkin's first centuries as a Gangrel were spent in chains of domination, fed only rage and pain, turned loose upon Odin’s enemies as a beast of punishment. His name became synonymous with death and despair. But it was in the Age of Arthur that redemption kindled like coals in snow. He was freed by a pact between Merlin and Malkov, and bound to serve Avalon not as a beast—but as a knight.

Through the centuries, Harkin became a paradox—part wolf, part man, part vampire, haunted by the howl of his lost tribe, yet tempered by the dream of Arthur’s court. Though the sword of Camelot is long buried, its ideals flicker still in his heart.

Now, in the year 1550, Harkin reigns as Prince of Glasgow, his domain stretching over much of Scotland. His rule is firm but not cruel, rooted in ancient oaths and Highland honor. No Kindred dares to challenge him openly, for he is as much spirit as vampire, and those who meet his gaze speak of eyes that remember the Moon.

He wears upon his chest the carved Red Oak medallion, fashioned from the same tree to which Odin once bound him. Within it is embedded a sliver of the Spear of Longinus, a bitter reminder of his Embrace and the crucible of his transformation. The Gargoyles call him “Stone-Breaker.” The Gangrel call him “Ancestor.” The Garou—those few who dare approach—call him Oathbreaker and Mourner both.

Yet those who know him well speak not of wrath but of quiet sorrow, and a constant search for meaning in a world that changed the rules of his soul. At the Moody Badger Tavern, he is said to have once wept beside the hearth, whispering an old Pictish lullaby none now remember.

He is a legend walking, a prince haunted, and a guardian who stands between Scotland and the dark tides rising from both north and underworld.

Genma Saotome

Genma Saotome, the Gurahl of the Panda Type

Genma Saotome is a large, jovial Japanese man with a full belly and an even fuller love for food. Clad in a red and black kimono, he cuts an imposing figure—but it's his warm demeanor and masterful cooking that draw most folks in. Once a fearsome martial artist of legendary skill, Genma now spends his days behind the counter of the Moody Badger Tavern, where the clang of pots has replaced the clash of fists. Though he may seem soft around the middle, don’t be fooled—when danger calls, the Panda Gurahl awakens, and Genma becomes a whirlwind of strength, wisdom, and deceptively graceful fury.

Fitzpatrick "Trick" McCorrigan

Trick.png

Tavern Owner in Kent County

Trick, also known as Fitzpatrick McCorrigan, is a figure of ancient legend and myth. Thousands of years ago, he reigned as the Blood King, a powerful Fae monarch of the Tuatha Dé Danann, ruling alongside his wife, The Morrigan. His actions were instrumental in shaping the very fabric of Fae society. Trick was the architect of the peace truce that ended the Great War between the Summer and Winter Fae houses, a conflict that had ravaged their world for centuries. He also drafted the Blood Laws, the sacred and binding rules that govern all Fae, ensuring order and unity amidst their chaotic and often treacherous nature. Trick was responsible for the creation of The Una Mens, a powerful collective of Fae that holds the essence of their laws and customs.

Yet, in 1547, this legendary king walks among mortals once again, having awakened in the form of a 16-year-old Boggan in Northern Ireland. Stripped of his former glory and throne, he now finds himself in the quiet city of Ashford in Kent County, England. Here, Trick runs a modest tavern with a youthful energy, but beneath his youthful appearance lies the wisdom of millennia. His sharp eyes betray the weight of the ages, and though he appears young, there is an agelessness about him that subtly marks him as something far greater than the simple tavern keeper he pretends to be.

Despite his reincarnation, Trick still holds the remnants of his former power. The tavern he operates is more than just a place for travelers and locals to gather; it is a sanctuary for Changelings, guarded by a loyal group of Changeling adults who know his true identity. These protectors ensure Trick remains safe, understanding that even in this humble form, his existence is of paramount importance to the balance of the Fae courts.

Though he appears content with his new life, Trick’s past as the Blood King never truly leaves him. He carries a deep knowledge of the Fae’s ancient rivalries, the great battles he fought, and the secrets of their realm. In Ashford, he watches, waiting for the moment when his ancient wisdom may once again be called upon to safeguard the fragile peace he once forged with his own hand.

Mithras

Mithras, a formidable figure in the lore of Vampire: The Masquerade, was a Fourth Generation Ventrue Methuselah, Embraced in 1258 BCE. Known by titles such as the "Bringer of Light" and "Lord of London," he reigned as Prince of London for centuries, asserting dominance through both political acumen and the establishment of the Cult of Mithras. This blood cult venerated him as a deity. His influence was so profound that many Kindred accepted his divinity until his eventual downfall.  Mithras's lineage traces back to Veddartha, a potent Fourth Generation Ventrue and founder of the Road of Kings. Veddartha's progeny included Mithras and Maltheas, indicating a legacy of influential Kindred. Mithras is of medium height, with a compact and slightly muscular build, swarthy skin for a vampire, classically handsome features, dark eyes, and dark hair worn shoulder-length in loose curls. He normally wore a soft cloth hat of some sort, preferring the ancient Phrygian cap. He preferred loose clothing that did not impede movement.
